Ratan’s devoted act

Ratan Rajput’s character in &TV’s socio-mythological show Santoshi Maa comes the closest to her real-life persona. While she may not quite face the same kind of hardships as her on-screen character, she is as big a follower of Santoshi Maa in real life. And as a way to pay respect to the Goddess, Ratan shot barefoot for the promo.

She didn’t wear any footwear for a single shot — even those in which she wasn’t required to be barefoot. Ratan says, “We always go barefoot in front of any God or Goddess. I know it’s not going to be possible to be barefoot throughout the show, but this is the least I could do.”
