Since producer Nithiin announced that the release of Nagarjuna’s son Akhil’s debut film Akhil had been pushed back, fans of the family have been relentlessly bashing him and director V.V. Vinayak online. They say that the two are close to Chiranjeevi’s family and hence, they have postponed Akhil to give more time to Ram Charan’s Bruce Lee.

Thus, Nagarjuna stepped in and held a press meet on Friday explaining that the film has been postponed due to a technical problem. “Some graphic work needs more time. We don’t know when it will be done. We will announce the release date soon,” he said. However, not many are buying this as it seems improbable that they were not aware of the problem till the last minute.
