Mumbai: The fifth day of Navaratri begins with us worshipping “Skanda Mata”. Seated on Lotus, she has serenity on her face and is accompanied by Lord Skanda in his infant form.
Often she is also called as the “Goddess of Fire”. This form of Durga is said to be the goddess of wisdom, power and prosperity.

Recipe of the day: Melon-orange-banana smoothie

Ingredient:
- ½ cup melon (chopped)
- 2 tbsp cup orange juice
- ½ banana (chopped)
- ¼ cup condensed milk
- 1 scoop Vanilla icecream
- ¾ crushed ice
- 1 tbsp honey
Instruction:
- Take a mixer jar and add chopped melon in it. Blend it till for 30 seconds.

- Add banana, crushed ice and condensed milk in the mixer and blend it again.
- Pour it in the glass and add orange juice it.
- Top it up with a scoop of vanilla icecream.
