What could be a greater compliment than a husband praising his wife for her good work? Filmmaker Selvaraghavan recently showered praise on his wife Gitanjali, who has directed Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam (MNM). Apparently, Selva saw the film and was completely spellbound with the way the film has been handled and executed.
Also Selva recommended on Twitter that the movie is a must-watch for all couples. “I don’t know what to say. A bunch of youngsters have done an amazing job. Just saw Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam. Mesmerised. I think every couple should watch it. Proud of you Gitanjali (sic).” Also he lauded the young team, who has worked in the film MNM editor Kola Baskar’s son, Balakrishna and Wamiqa Gabbi who are playing the lead roles and new composer Amrit Rao. Some years ago, Selvaraghavan was supposed to direct a film by the same name, with Dhanush and Andrea in the lead, but it was shelved. Apparently, we hear that Selva has been encouraging Gitanjali to get into direction, and she was thrilled to take it up.
