Swathi Narayanan, who is making her debut as a lead actress through Ranjith Shankar’s upcoming film (Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam) says, Jayasurya was a huge help on the sets to make her feel comfortable in front of the camera.
“Since I’m a dancer, I don’t have stage fear or camera shyness. But I have very little experience in acting and that was a concern. Jayettan used to tell me that we are a generation of actors who have it easier. Unlike their times, we don’t have to ‘act’ in a particular scene or make special efforts to get across the emotions we are trying to portray. The one advice he kept giving me was to not think about the acting and to just respond as I would in real life. He said the apt acting style now was to make it effortless,” says Swathi Narayanan.
