Bank of China to fund India’s tallest tower on banks of Hussainsagar
Hyderabad: The Bank of China has offered to fund the construction of India's tallest tower on the banks of the Hussainsagar. It has expressed willingness to bear 85 per cent of the total cost of the project.
Another Chinese company, China Communications Construction Company Ltd (CCCC), has come forward to build a suspension bridge over Durgam Cheruvu. These proposals were made by Chinese firms when they met Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao at his camp office on Friday. It was decided to hold further talks soon to finalise the proposals.
As a follow-up to Mr Rao's recent China tour, various Chinese companies met the CM and offered to invest in projects initiated by the Telangana government, to build new skyways, flyovers, multi-grade separators and sky-scrapers. Representatives of these companies visited various sites, including Hussainsagar where the tallest tower can be built.
