ISL 2015, Delhi Dynamos FC vs Mumbai City FC: 6 players to watch out for

Florent Malouda has been indispensable to Delhi’s attack this season

New Delhi: It’s time for one of the most awaited fixtures of the ISL. As both the teams gear up for the evening, we take a look at the game changers that are going to feature in this exciting match.

Delhi Dynamos FC:

Florent Malouda

Florent Malouda has been indispensible to Delhi’s attack this season. The Frenchman has been involved in four out of Delhi’s six goals in the ISL 2015. The winger is a good crosser and also doesn’t hesitate in tracking back to help the team regain possession.

Richard Gadze

Richard Gadze looked lively throughout the evening against North East United FC, and helped his side take a well deserved lead. The Ghanaian possesses all the qualities that a forward wishes for. A gifted footballer with pace, technique, strength and finishing, Gadze seems to have it all.

John Arne Riise

Having played as a centerback for most of his career, John Arne Riise seems to have adjusted well to his new role as a fullback. The Norwegian is a specialist at closing down spaces and making the opposition attackers feel helpless. Riise has made 56 clearances this season.

Mumbai City FC:

Sony Norde

The Haitian has shown an exceptional work rate this season. The winger is a nightmare for defences once he gets into his stride. Great composure and ball control are few of his many attributes that help him add menace to the Islanders’ attack

Sunil Chhetri

Team India’s captain is a true leader upfront. He can produce the results playing as a poacher, while he also contributes to the build up when his side is counterattacking. He positions himself extremely well, often finding himself in the right place at the right time.

Pavel Cmovs

The Czech is one of the toughest defenders in the league. Cmovs has shown great physical presence in and around the penalty area, often making crucial interceptions and tackles. Cmovs also provides support to the Islanders' attack during set-piece situations. He hit the bar with a bullet header earlier in a match against North East United FC.
