This could have been Salman Khan’s first on-screen kiss!

Mumbai: Salman Khan, who is a proud member of club ‘No kissing on-screen’, once had agreed to lock lips on the silver screen. Yes, if it wasn’t for the actress, Salman would have had his first on-screen kissing scene ages ago.

Apparently, Salman was on-board with director Sooraj Barjatya’s sweet kissing scene in ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ and if it wasn’t for Bhagyashree’s no-kissing-clause, the film could have featured Salman’s first on-screen lip lock.

“Bhagyashree unknowingly has contributed a lot to our thing. While filming for Maine Pyar Kiya, there came a kiss scene. I thought to myself, how will I do a kiss scene? I went to Sooraj and told him I am slightly uncomfortable, to which he said, ‘You are uncomfortable? I can at least convince you but Bhagyashree is refusing to do it’. But he did succeed in convincing me,” Salman revealed at a recent event.

Yes, the director succeeded in bringing Dabangg Salman on board with the scene, however, he couldn’t convince Bhagyashree and in the end, they had to bring in the glass wall.

“I got convinced when Sooraj said that it’s a Rajshree film and it’s a love story and this was just one kiss. There was no smooching, no swip-swapping, just a small kiss. While I agreed to do it, Bhagyashree still stood firmly on her decision and said no. After a lot of stress-walking and hair-scratching, Sooraj decided on not doing it altogether and that’s when the glass wall entered the scene,” the actor smiled.

Well, we have to kind of agree that the glass added an extra charm to the scene
