Saurabh Shukla is donning the greasepaint for a K’town film after a long hiatus
Veteran Bollywood actor Saurabh Shukla is donning the greasepaint for a K’town film after a long hiatus. He will be seen playing a pivotal role in the untitled film, which has Santhanam playing the lead.
The actor who did a brief, yet notable role in Shankar’s Anniyan was last seen in David in Tamil. Directed by Ram Bala of Lollu Sabha fame, the movie went on floors on Sunday.
A source says, “Saurabh has a crucial character to essay in the film which is billed as a horror-comedy. Though he is not playing a baddie, there will be scenes where his character will be pitted against Santhanam. The movie will be shot extensively in Chennai and Puducherry.”
Mumbai-based Shanaya who makes her Kollywood debut with this movie will be the romantic interest to Santhanam in the film. Thaman scores music for the movie while Deepak Kumar Pathi will crank the camera.
