Remembering the Good Old Days
Siddharth Lama is grown up and back to Mollywood as a hero. However, he cherishes the moments he had with the Yodha team, a movie that made him the darling of Malayalis. He was just eight years old then and had a wonderful time with great talents of Malayalam cinema.
He recollects. “The whole shoot was fun. I was quite excited about the shoot. Sangeeth uncle was patient enough to explain each and every scene to me. Although my combinations scenes were mostly with Mohanlal, I bonded more with Jagathy Sreekumar. He would make faces and I would start laughing. In the movie also there were certain sequences where I had to simply laugh. During that time Jagathy would sit behind the camera to make me laugh. That was all great fun.”
Lama was here recently to shoot for Lenin Rajendran’s Edavapthi. Jagathy was supposed to act in this movie. Now, Prasanth Narayanan is doing his role.
“It was while travelling to our shooting location that he met with an accident. I have learnt about his current situation. I really wish to meet him once,” he adds.
