Manon, former assistant to filmmakers like P Vasu, Raghavan and Vetrimaaran seems to be a content man. The young filmmaker, who is turning independent with a movie titled Ka Ka Ka — Aabathin Arikuri received laurels from his mentor.
Touted to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller, the film has Ashok, who is returning after a gap, and Megha Sri in the lead with Nasser, Jayasudha and comedian Yogi Babu in the supporting cast.
Speaking about Manon, Vetri says, “Manon has worked in my production ventures. He is a very energetic worker. When he told me that he wants to start the bi-lingual Ka Ka Ka, I advised him to be quite careful. Now, I hear that he has completed the film efficiently, planning well in advance within a short period making his producer also happy. At the same time he has not compromised on the content, which I could see when I watched the trailer, which was slick and intriguing. Sound design which is very important for such thrillers, has been handled effectively.”
