She might have had a bit of a rocky start in Bollywood with Himmatwala and Humshakals, but things are looking good again for Tamannaah all thanks to the praise that Baahubali has brought her way. It has got her a brand endorsement with Shah Rukh Khan to begin with and now she kick starts Baahubali 2.
“Yes, the success of Baahubali got me the ad with SRK and shooting it was a surreal experience. The sequel to the film will be even more action-packed, so that’s something to look forward to.”
Despite the debacle that Humshakals turned out to be, the actress is in touch with Sajid Khan who gave her the film, also her Bollywood debut. “I was at Sajid’s birthday party this week and I also met Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar after quite a while. It was fun catching up.”
A regular at red carpet events, Tamannaah looks up to Kangana Ranaut’s style. “I love how she carries herself. In Hollywood, I admire Jennifer Lawrence.”
When she isn’t acting, Tamannaah works on her own line of jewellery called Wite and Gold.
“When I’m not shooting, I spend time with dad who is into the jewellery business. I’ve constantly been learning from him,” she says.
