Hyderabad: Connecting the Silicon Valley and Hyderabad, Air India is launching a flight service from Hyderabad to San Francisco via New Delhi from December 2. The flight will travel non-stop from New Delhi to San Francisco and fliers will go through all custom and immigration formalities at Hyderabad airport itself for their onward journey.
A. Ram Babu, station manager, Hyderabad, said the flight from Hyderabad to San Francisco had the advantage of convenient timings and connections.
“The introduction of the non-stop flight between New Delhi and San Francisco paves way for the most awaited and sought after connection, between Silicon Valley and Hyderabad,” he said.
Flight AI-127 from Hyderabad to New Delhi will depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from Hyderabad at 9.05 pm. The flight will arrive in New Delhi at 11.15 pm.
Flight AI-173 to San Francisco will leave New Delhi on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 2.35 am and reach San Francisco at 6 am (local time) on the same day.
The return flight will depart at 10.30 am and arrive at New Delhi the next day (Thursdays, Saturdays and Mondays) and at 5.40 pm depart for Hyderabad to arrive at 7.55 pm.
