A team member from Comedy Nights With Kapil has revealed that it was not easy for Deepika Padukone to indulge in the toilet humour and flirty banter on the show with Ranveer Singh, when they came on the show to promote Bajirao Mastani.
Says the member from the Comedy Nights team, “A gag was planned around Ranveer enacting how a royal would sit on the commode. Some of us found it vulgar. And we could see that Deepika was not comfortable with the toilet humour at all.”
A filmmaker who knows the actress closely, says, “She is trying to mould her personality in accordance with Ranveer’s. She is trying to be an outgoing, fun person when she’s actually quiet and subdued.”
But there are others who swear by Deepika’s fun side. “She is constantly trying to have fun. It’s rather cute to see her trying to match Ranveer’s energy level,” says a source.
