Ex-IG’s daughter kills dove, hangs it to door
Hyderabad: Banjara Hills Police on Sunday made a General Diary entry against former DG C. Dothanga’s daughter Dr Unis Changso for killing a dove and hanging it outside her door at her rented flat in Shanti Nivas Apartments at MLA Colony.
Dr Changso, who has been living in the flat for the past year, had allegedly quarreled with other residents of the apartment over petty issues. The residents meanwhile staged a protest in front of the police station on Sunday, demanding action against her rude behaviour.
Since Dr Changso shifted into the flat, she had apparently quarreled with her neighbours over petty issues. On Saturday evening, she cut a dove and separated its head and hung it to her door to threaten other residents.
Based on a complaint from the residents, a case under the City Police Act was registered. Meanwhile, the residents of the apartment alleged that she would threaten them with police cases for petty reasons.
“She lodged a complaint against the flat owner when asked to pay her rent. She also lodged a complaint against an auto driver when he did not give her change. She has lodged complaints against many of the residents also,” said one of the residents of the apartment. Residents also said that she would make loud and scary noises at night, due to which women and children would get frightened. On Sunday, the residents again lodged a complaint with the police, demanding action against her for her strange and abnormal behaviour.
“We are verifying the complaint. Based on the investigation we will take action,” said Banjara Hills’ additional inspector Rambabu.
