Thiruvananthapuram: Anand Neelakantan, author from Tripunithura, is among the five short-listed authors for the popular award category of IDBI Bank Crossword Book Award 2013.

Asura, Tale of the Vanquished, the novel that told Ramayana from the perspective of Ravana and Bhadra, a common Asura from the banks of Periyar, was the number 1 for 2012 Crossword bestseller list.
