Kareena Kapoor dons a de-glam look

She may be one of the most glamorous actresses in B’town, married to a Nawab, but none of that will reflect in her upcoming film 'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein'. Contrary to her otherwise flamboyant avatar, Kareena Kapoor will be seen sporting a de-glam look in the film. Since it is shot against a rural backdrop, the actress will be seen wearing only six outfits throughout the film. 

Director Punit Malhotra says, “We had to throw costume designer Manish Malhotra out of the film and I am sure he is going to kill me for that. The only requirement was that Kareena should look simple. So she will be wearing only six outfits throughout the film.”

From what we hear, her costume in the song Tooh is the most elaborate of them all. “We had to make her pass off as a villager, so people could identify with the character. But Kareena being the professional that she is, was very co-operative throughout the film,” adds Punit.
