Season of register marriages in Mollywood

Soon after the much hyped wedding of Rima-Aashiq, another new wave director of Mollywood, Samir Thahir, also chose the same path by tying the knot with Neethu, who is a teacher, a few days ago.

They too got married under the Special Marriage Act, since both are from different religions. The couple had planned to get married in May, but it was postponed due to Samir's tight schedules.

Cinematographer-turned director Samir has made his own mark in M'town, through movies like 'Chappakurishu', 'Neelakasaham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi'.

Also he cranked the camera for Aashiq Abu's directorial debut 'Daddy Cool'. It seems both directors are not  only heralding changes through cinema, but with their life also.
