It was long speculated in the industry that filmmaker A.R. Murugadoss would join hands with Ilayathalapathy Vijay after the mammoth success of 'Thuppakki'. Now the latest buzz is that the director has eventually confirmed on his microblogging website that he will work on another project with Vijay soon. Murugadoss wrote, “Am really happy and excited to convey you all that I am joining hands with Vijay sir once again.” The second collaboration of Murugadoss and Vijay has created huge expectations amidst the latter’s fans as Thuppakki, which turned out to be a massive hit, helped Vijay join the Rs 100-crore club. Interestingly, Murugadoss divulged the information on November 13, the day Thuppakki was released last year. Presently, Murugadoss is working on the Hindi remake of the film 'Thuppakki' and Vijay is busy with his next flick, Jilla, which is expected to hit theatres for Pongal. Sources in the industry say that their second film will not be a sequel to 'Thuppakki'.
