Sachin mania is at its peak in the city, as the Master Blaster plays his last match between India and West Indies. Ticket sales went soaring, crossing 20 million, as fans went bonkers to watch the little master play his 200th five-day test match. Even closer home, city bars and restaurants are gearing up to cater to the crazy fans.

Bars and eateries changing their decor and conducting Tendulkar theme-based games, to IT and other corporate offices running extra events and games, tributes to Sachin are getting quite innovative.

Talking about the 10dulkar tribute, Gilbert Soman, nanaging partner, The Studio Bar, reveals, “We are giving away Sachin masks to everyone who orders drinks at the bar. We have designed the menu in the shape of a cricket bat with drinks and food named after him. The waiters will be dressed in Indian cricket team jerseys and we have 10 number bartenders.“

Rajesh Radhakrishnan, programme manager, Flipkart, is excited to go to Mumbai. Rajesh shares, “I have spent '21,000 to go to Mumbai;

10,000 for the match ticket and '11,000 for the flight ticket from Bengaluru, to see Sachin on field for the last time. I do not regret the money I spent as I know it will be a moment, which I can cherish for a lifetime. “ Vishesh Kankariya, managing director, Aaryan Enterprises Pvt Ltd, who designed the external granite work for Sachin's house in Mumbai, states, “Inspite of all his greatness, I found him to be a modest and very down-to-earth person.“

To make Sachin's 200th extra special, Mast Kalandar is dedicating an Apna Sachin campaign.

“Through this, we want to celebrate every Indian's own private Sachin moment. We have introduced 'Thali TEN DUlkar Waali' which includes 10 items,“ says Pallavi Gupta, a co-founder.
