The afro-haired cutie turned suave gentleman, Aditya Roy Kapur turns 28 today!
Here is wishing 'Roy Kapur' a very happy birthday!
Seemingly unaffected by all the media frenzy that he was suddenly showered with, the scruffy young star is already being featured on almost all most eligible bachelor lists.
The young actor recently invested in a new house and a pair of fancy wheels.
With all his sudden success, Adiya is not one to splurge unwisely.
His upcoming films include 'Assi Nabey Poore Sau', 'Dawaat-E-Ishq' and 'Fitoor'.
But if you have been paying attention to Bollywood gossip these days, you'll know that Aditya has only eyes for a certain Ms. Shraddha Kapoor.
His apparent funny bone may also explain why he's considered to be such a ladies man!
It is said that Aditya's superb sense of humour is what drew Channel V to hire him as a VJ.
Besides his obvious good looks and impeccable sense of style, its Aditya's umpteen hair styles that have garnered most attention!
This year also saw the release of his next big film - 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani'. Declared a super-hit, he starred alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Kalki Koechlin in the film.
Instant fame, however, came with this year's 'Aashiqui 2' opposite fellow newcomer Shraddha Kapoor.
While he may have made his film debut with 'London Dreams', it was his next film 'Action Replayy' (2010) alongside Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Guzaarish' that got him noticed.
Despite his background, Aditya claims that he "had no burning ambition to become an actor". Quite happy with landing a VJ-ing job with Channel V, he kept at it until he was asked to audition for 2009's musical - 'London Dreams'.
Towering at six foot two, Aditya comes from a very Bollywood inclined family. He is the younger brother of Siddharth Roy Kapur and Kunal Roy Kapur. His sister-in-law is the gorgeous Vidya Balan.
Known as 'Roy Kapur’ to most friends, football dribbling Aditya grew up in Mumbai, graduating from St. Xavier's College.
