Hyderabad: Like it or not, everyone has something to say about Sachin Tendulkar’s retirement from cricket.

Joining this bandwagon are e-commerce players which are either running hefty discounts or offers or even exhibiting exclusive collection or merchandise, for the master blaster or dedicating the day to him as he plays his (last and) the 200th Test match.

e-tailing majors like Myntra, Flipkart, e-Bay, Snapdeal and other online players like LensKart, Bags-Kart, ShopClues and other players have all contributed their little in a bid to enthral his fans.

While Myntra is offering a discount of 31 per cent on purchases, Flipkart has “collectibles and memoribilia” shop dedicated to the cricketer who took the world by a storm.

Meanwhile, eBay has come up with an innovative way of selling “Sachin Tendulkar Silver Coins” claiming it to be a limited edition.

LensKart, that sells opticals, is giving a Rs 200 discount on purchases above Rs 700.  Moreover, the website is also running a #LoveForSachin contest on its Facebook page.

While all these online retails are vying for their pie in bidding a splendid farewell to Sachin and making the most of the moment, coupon-selling websites are the ones gaining some good traffic.

Websites like coupondunia.com and couponnation.com are offering coupons on food to accessories, apparel and electronics and cashing on it.

Some websites have even gone overboard by offering free cab rides.

Musafir.com, an online travel website, has offered free cab rides to fans to Wankhede Stadium, paying a tribute to Sachin.

And, then there’s also another website that is asking all the fans to pay tribute to Sachin and naming the website just that. Tribut-etosachin.com is offering coffee table books that will include all the tributes that fans post on their website.

Well, while some are sinking in sorrow at Sachin’s retirement, some sure seem to be making business out of it his legendary exit. Each to his own.
