Hyderabad: The police has booked a case of theft after a car deposited with the valet service of the pub Bottles & Chimneys went missing last week.

While the pub hasn’t been named as an accused in the case, the cops say that it was negligence on the pub’s part for not ensuring the safety of the vehicle. The pub’s management says that the safety of cars parked with their valet service is not their responsibility.

The complainant, who had attended a party at the pub last week, found his black Hyundai Verna missing when he returned after dinner.

“The complainant had the valet ticket that was given to him after taking his car. When he came out and gave the valet the ticket, the receipt and keys were there, but the car was gone,” said Begumpet inspector L. Balu Chowhan.
