It will go wrong!
No matter how much you plan, what has to go wrong will go wrong.

No matter how much you plan, what has to go wrong will go wrong. Whether you call it destiny or fate or whatever, this incredible phenomenon common to all of us taps into our tendency to dwell on the negative and overlook the positive. It seems to poke fun at us for being such stupid idiots and it uses the rules of divine probability and a magical mathematical certainty.
These are some of the things I have observed in my life:
- Whenever you think something can’t go wrong, it will always go wrong.
- If you figure that there are four possible ways in which something can go wrong, and prepare for all of them, then a fifth way you are completley unprepared for, will promptly develop.
- If you think everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something and you will find that out only after it goes wrong.
- You don’t understand why everything is taking much longer than what you thought it would take and then at the end you will find out that you have been doing it wrong.
- You will never find anything you lost until you buy a new one.
- Thinking that nobody is doing it, you do it and only after doing it, you will realise why nobody ever did it in the first place.
- You get the most of what you need the least.
- It is impossible to make anything foolproof because fools are very ingenious.
- If there is a worst time for something to go wrong, it will happen only then.
- If several things that could have gone wrong have not gone wrong and you feel happy about it, you would finally realise that it would have been beneficial for them to have gone wrong.
