Technical snag delays 2 flights in Chennai

300 passengers stranded at the Chennai airport due to technical snag in two international flights.

ChennaiTechnical snags in two international flights left more than 300 passengers stranded at the Chennai airport for hours together on Sunday. 
 
According to airport sources, 138 passengers of an Air India flight to Singapore were visibly miffed with the crew and airline officials as they were made to wait inside the aircraft for around seven hours while being assured that the fault was being looked into. 
 
In a similar incident, 182 passengers of Gulf Air fli­ght to Bahrain were str­a­n­ded due to a technical sn­ag. The pilot identified te­c­hnical issues in the flight scheduled for departure at 4.30 am. After trying for one-and-a-half hours, the flight was cancelled and the passengers were shifted to a nearby hotel.
