Anantapur: Reiterating his stand on Samaikyandhra, primary education minister Sake Sailajanath hoped that division process would be stopped following many burning issues including the Constitutional procedures.
Though Congress senior MLA J.C. Diwakar Reddy started turning the JACs in favour of Rayala-Telangana, Seemandhra Forum convener Sailajanath, who hails from Anantapur district, made it clear that the Chief Minister was making all efforts to prevent bifurcation of the state.
Sailajanath, earlier observed the Rachchabanda programme would put an end to involvement of middlemen in all welfare schemes and the benefits would reach directly to the doorsteps of people in rural and urban areas.
Reviewing over the progress of Rachchabanda programme at revenue bhavan here on Sunday, Sailajanath said at least 2.90 lakh ration cards and Rs 32 crore worth of assets and development works being distributed in the district.
Referring to big number of civil works, the minister briefed that nearly 32 works with a cost of Rs 28 crore would be taken up during the Rachchabanda programme. He also said KGBV residential schools are being provided with corporate facilities with Rs 1.50 crore for each school in the district. He advised the officials to distribute assets to all genuine beneficiaries.
