Chess: Lalith babu shares lead with Ter-Sahakyan Samvel

Lalith Babu defeated Ter-Sahakyan Samvel and shared lead with 4.5 points at the Grandmaster International Open Chess tournament.

Chennai: Grandmaster M R Lalith Babu of India defeated GM Ter-Sahakyan Samvel of Armenia and shared lead with 4.5 points after the fifth round of the Chennai Grandmaster International Open Chess tournament held in celebration of the FIDE World Championship, here today.

Sharing the lead along with Lalith Babu were GM Vidit Santosh Gujrathi (India) and IM Mozharov Mikhail (Russia) among others.
