Suresh Gopi to play volleyball coach

Suresh Gopi is known for his Police roles but his upcoming film 'Real Players' directed by Tivin has him in a very different avatar.

Speaking about the film, Tivin says, “Suresh Gopi plays a volleyball player in the Kerala Police team. Later on, due to some political issues, he is forced to leave the force and decides to set up a volleyball academy. This endeavour of his also gets plagued by problems and the film takes a look at the subsequent events."

The film has Master Sanoop and Balachandran in other prominent roles.

The female lead will be finalised shortly and there is a strong negative character in the film which is also in the process of being finalised. Incidentally this film will be produced by V.K. Prakash.

Tivin has worked as an associate to directors like Rafi Mecartin, Shafi and Siddique among others. The locations will be Kasargode, Bengalaru and Ooty and the shoot will begin by March.
