Biju gave brown liquid to Resmi, says his son

The 11-year-old son of Biju Radhakrishnan and Resmi testified before the sessions court here on Monday.

Kollam: The 11-year-old son of Biju Radhakrishnan and Resmi testified before the  sessions court here on Monday that he had seen Biju, accused in the murder of Resmi,  giving some ‘brown liquid’ to her on the day she was found dead in their house in February, 2006.

The son, who is  one of the prime witnesses in the case, asked: “How can I address the man who killed my mother, politely?” 

He  said that after Biju gave the ‘brown liquid’ to Resmi,   she was found lying unconscious on the floor, with half of her body  inside the toilet. The court took the statements from Biju’s son, Biju’s  father and sister Rekha.

The court on Tuesday will take the statements of  Rekha’s husband Subhash, Resmi’s mother Saradamoni, aunty Sindhu Unnithan  and neighbours Rakhi who saw the body first.

Ashok Menon, special district and sessions judge, also ordered to give a special cell for Biju as his advocate said Biju had been threatened by inmates.
