London: A new app that lets iPhone users fake texts, call, and even locations, is becoming a must-have for those who cannot help but lie to their loved ones, out of choice or habit.

The app, called as ' FakeMyi' enables iPhone owners to pretend they're in places where they aren't, as well as giving them the ability to log fake call histories and text messages .

According to metro.co.uk, in simple terms one can just lie about places, texts and calls and make up a story around it.

In a situation when the boss asks the reason for absence, one can simply show him or her a text from a 'colleague' saying that they're going to cover your shift, thereby landing them in trouble instead.

The catch? The app can only be installed on jailbroken iPhones, but is available through Cydia from the developers at Code9.
