Mangalore: Bihar police on Saturday picked up two people from here for interrogation, after they allegedly received money from two arrested suspects linked to Patna serial bomb blasts.
Sources said the arrested have been identified as Asif of Amblamogaru and M.D. Mustaq of Bajpe. Though it was said that Asif was produced before a local court on Saturday, Mangalore Police Commissioner Manish Karbikar told Deccan Chronicle that he was not aware of Bihar police detaining anyone for questioning.
On November 13, Bihar police arrested Aysha Banu and her husband Zubair from Mangalore for allegedly sending funds to “suspicious people”. Asif and Mustaq allegedly received money from Zubair.
