Mangalore: M.D. Mustaq, one of the two picked up by the Bihar police on Saturday in connection to illegal transaction of money, was produced before a judge on Sunday evening.

On Saturday, the Bihar police picked up Mustaq of Bajpe and Asif of Amblamogaru for allegedly receiving money from two arrested suspects Aysha Banu and Zubair, who allegedly financed some ‘suspicious people’, linked to Patna serial bomb blasts.

Aysha and her husband Zubair were arrested in Mangalore by Bihar police on November 13.

Asif and Mustaq allegedly received huge amounts of money from Zubair’s bank accounts in a span of six months.

According to sources, the arrested would be produced before the court on Monday by the Bihar police, requesting for transit warrants to take the duo to Bihar for further inquiry.
