Hyderabad: The Mahabubnagar Bus Victims Families Action Committee on Saturday staged protest near Ministers' Quarters seeking justice.

The protest was organised by the family members, relatives and friends of victims who were killed in the ghastly accident in which a Volvo bus of Jabbar Travels charred 45 passengers to death a month ago.

The women staged protest along with their small babies at the Ministers' Quarters here. They carried a large banner seeking resignation of Transport Minister Botsa Satyanarayana.

They alleged that even one month after the incident, the victims' families were neither paid compensation nor those responsible for the incident were arrested.

When some protestors tried to barge into the Ministers' Quarters, police swung into action and took them into custody.
