HyderabadSeemandhra ministers are once again divided into two groups, one supporting PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana and the other opposing him, after his announcement that he would take action against those who are criticising the high command on the bifurcation issue. The ministers who are in Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy’s camp are criticising the PCC chief for his statement.

Ministers who are against the Chief Minister came to the rescue of PCC chief but Satyanarayana, however, did not get much support from his Cabinet colleagues.

The state law minister, Erasu Pratap Reddy, who belongs to the Chief Minister’s camp, speaking to media on Friday, said the Chief Minister, the PCC chief and all the ministers, including himself, are opposing the high command’s decision on state division, than on whom the action will be taken.

The finance minister, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, said the PCC chief  said that action will be taken on those who are targeting the high command on state division issue; no action will be taken if anyone speaks in favour of Samaikyandhra. The tribal welfare minister, P. Balaraju, said he will abide by the high command’s decision on state division.

He said if anybody speaks against the high command’s decision it will amount to violation of party discipline. He condemned the criticism by some of his colleagues against the PCC chief.

Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said if at all action should be taken on any one, it should be taken on the PCC chief first. Another minister, Pithani Satyanarayana, who is playing a key role in the Chief Minister’s camp, criticised the PCC chief for saying everyone should abide by the high command’s decision. He said that the PCC chief has no clarity on what he says.

Minister Kondru Murali demanded an action against Srinivasa Rao and Vijayawada Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal whom he alleged of carrying out antiparty activities.
Meanwhile, the PCC chief said he will reveal the names of all those working against the party interests and damaging the party image at an appropriate time.
