Taj Noor releases album on Malaysian Tamils
Taj Noor, has come out with an album where all the musicians and singers were Malaysian Tamilians.
Malaysia is a country where Tamil films find a huge market. The Tamils who live there have been patronising Tamil cinema from the days of Sivaji-MGR. They also felicitate K'town stars and musicians at regular intervals.
In order to show our gratitude to them, Taj Noor, a former associate of A.R. Rahman, who turned independent composer with the blockbuster film 'Vamsam', has come out with an album titled 'Tamizh Mozhi Kaakkum Malaysia'.
Hailing Malaysian Tamils with the concept of 'One Malaysia', it was unveiled in front of a huge crowd at Kuala Lumpur with sever al Tamil film personalities taking part in it. The highlight is that all the musicians and singers used in the album were Malaysian Tamilians.
Speaking on the occasion, ace director Bharathiraja said, “I heard the songs. They are brilliant. A big place awaits Taj in Tamil industry." Lyricists Snehan, Pa Vijay also took part at the glitzy event.
A.R. Raihana's final touch on stage with her brother ARR's Academy winning "Jai Ho" song was received with thunderous applause.
