While news that Nazriya Nazim would be crooning for the film 'Salala Mobiles' had been reported earlier, she did record for the title song in Kochi yesterday.

Speaking about the experience Nazriya says, “It was a great experience and I am singing for the first time, but managed to record in one and a half hours."

The song which has the lyrics "La la la sa" has music composed by Gopi Sunder and the principal lyrics have been written by Sharath. The song is an Ummachi Rap and the additional rap lyrics are from a composition by Mahakavi Moyin Kutty Vaidyar and the rap has been done by Kalabhavan Abi.

Speaking about the rendition Nazriya says, “The song has got a very different styling and it was a bit difficult but I could manage. This is also my maiden attempt at singing and I have never learnt singing before."

Asked if she plans to continue crooning for her other films, she says, “If I am asked to sing, I don't mind singing."

Sharath informs that this is a traditional mapilla song with rap lyrics hence the name Ummachi Rap. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan as the hero and has Jacob Gregory pairing up with Dulquer after their successful outing 'ABCD'.
