Sonakshi Sinha may have started her career on a high note, but the actress got a bit of a reality check with the last few of her releases not exactly making a mark at the box office. Right from her debut 'Dabangg' to 'Rowdy Rathore' and 'Son Of Sardar', the actress has seen a flurry of hits. But if the latest releases are anything to go by ('Lootera', 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaraa'), the graph hasn’t been looking upwards. Which is why the actress has all her hopes pinned on 'R…Rajkumar'.

Says a friend of the actress, “Ups and downs are a part of everybody’s career. Sonakshi’s work has been appreciated as an actress in 'Lootera' and all other films that she’s done. It’s been a fulfilling year for her.”

“Considering the fact that 'R... Rajkumar' brings her back in a space that director Prabhu Deva had created in 'Rowdy Rathore', Sonakshi has all the reasons to believe that the film will work for her. With songs like 'Saree Ke Fall Sa' and 'Gandi Baat' turning into chartbusters and Eros going all out to promote the film extensively, it only makes things better,” adds a trade analyst.
