Among the plethora of productivity apps that are available in both Android and Apple store, the best genre are the To-Do apps.

These apps lets you list down the things that you would like to get done for the day and periodically strike them out as you complete them.

I recently picked up a Nexus 5, the highend Android phone from Google and was quite eager to put it to full use to up my much needed productivity quotient. I started to scout around for the best To-Do list apps and ended up with the following three.

1) Wunderlist,

2)RememberTheMilk and

3)Any.Do.

I gave all three a good spin and used them for a day to get a good feel. It was the 3rd one that really caught my fancy.  Here are the reasons why I believe that Any.Do is the best To-Do app out there in the market.

Easy Folders:
The app easily lets you jot down the tasks and put them in appropriate folders.

Tasks for Today:
Even though you have listed down the tasks in different folders, the app lets you sort the tasks by priority. I especially liked the ‘Tasks for Today’ list which makes it convenient for me to focus on what’s important.

Task Reminders:
This app does not let you off the hook easily.  It constantly reminds you of the task until you finish them.  You get the flexibility to snooze, which can aid procrastination but hey, you can’t blame the app for that!

Missed call Reminders:
When I miss a call or can’t attend a call, the app quickly let me know that I should return the call. This is extremely useful for a forgettable guy like me.
I would highly recommend this app. Give the app a spin and I’m sure you will find it very useful.
