Hyderabad U-19 crush Railways, five for Ganesh

Hyderabad: A rampant Hyderabad thrashed Railways by an innings and 189 runs in their match at the under-19 cricket tournament for the Cooch Behar Trophy.

Hyderabad, who had scored a mammoth 483 for 5 in response to Railways' first innings total of 157, bundled out their oppo nents for only 137 in their sec ond essay. Tanay Thyagarajan was the pick of Hyderabad's bowlers, with 4 for 49. He was ably supported by C.V. Milind (2 for 48) and Shravan Kumar (2 for 16).

Meanwhile, Ganesh's 5 for 33 helped Gemini Friends (221) defeat Kosa Raju by 49 runs in their two-day league match.
