Realty sector aims at double digit growth
CREDAI to organise a 2-day national conference at JW Marriott in New Delhi from Dec 13.
Kochi: The Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Association of India (Credai), the apex body of builders in the country, will organise a two-day national conference with the theme ‘Housing the Game Changer – Leading to Double-Digit GDP growth’ at JW Marriott in New Delhi from December 13.
The conference aims to bring together more than 9,000 real estate developers from 137 city chapters across 20 states under a single umbrella, said S.N. Raghuchandran Nair, chairman of Credai, Kerala region.
“Today, real estate sector is the largest generator of economic activity contributing 6.3% to the GDP. To raise this growth to double digits, Credai is making a focused attempt,” he told reporters here.
Credai national executive member Najeeb Zackeria, Kochi chapter president John Thomas, secretary J. Paul Raj and Raveendran, executive director were also present.
