Actor Vidharth in a controversial subject

Vidharth is keyed up these days although he has had a lean patch in terms of releases. He was last seen in a ruffian’s role in 'Jannal Oram'. The actor has his kitty full with half a dozen flicks, including Ajith’s 'Veeram', 'Aal' and 'Venmegham'.
The 'Mynaa' star plays an artist in Venmegham which is directed by twins Ram-Lakshman. The model-turned-actress, Ishara, essays Vidharth’s love interest. There’s a school-going character which is a pivotal one to move the story forward. Jayashree Sivadas, a standard 10 student, who won the Kerala State award for Best Child Artiste twice, has been roped in to play the central character. Actress Rohini essays the girl’s mother. Jagan provides the comic element.
About the film, Vidharth says, “The crew from Kerala is attempting a film in Tamil for the first time. The story is based on a real life incident. It is about the bond shared by an artist (me) and a school kid (Jayashree). The directors, perhaps for the first time, have touched upon a bold theme.”
