Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala has said that a decision has been taken to strengthen the coordination between the government and the Congress party.
Congress sources told DC that Congress leaders, including chief minister Oommen Chandy and Chennithala, expressed their displeasure at the allies for blaming the Congress for the recent election setbacks.
Chennithala said defeat was not happening for the first time in the Congress.
He added that the party will march forward, learning lessons from the defeat.
In the meeting, the Congress leaders also opined that but for the interference of KC(M) in the Kasturirangan committee report, the public would not have turned against the government.
