Fight sequence on a grand scale for 'Jilla'
'Jilla' is in the news again for sundry good reasons
Jilla is in the news again for sundry good reasons. Vijay and Mohanlal coming together may well be a reason for it to be big, but this time it's R.B. Choudary, the producer of the film, who doesn't want to compromise on the end product.
One of the fight sequences has had the Jilla team erect a huge set on a large cornfield in Hyderabad.
It's learnt that more than 40 stunt artists were used for the scene. It's also a scene where Mohanlal and Vijay join hands to rebut the baddies with style. The cinematographer, Ganesh Rajvel, shot this scene, using six hi-tech cameras and helicams. The shot took them ten days to shoot at a cost of one crore.
D. Imman composes music for the film, which is directed by Natesan. Mahath plays the role of Vijay's brother in the flick. Soori, Thambi ramaiya and Poornima Bhagyaraj play crucial roles.
