Any newcomer can approach me — Ilaiyaraaja

It is common knowledge that maestro Ilaiyaraaja is one man who speaks his mind on any given occasion. At the recent audio launch of his upcoming film, 'Oru Oorla', Raja said that he was always there to compose for newcomers with a passion for good cinema. He had composed entire songs for 'Oru Oorla' after the debutants, producer Veluchamy and Vasanthakumar, completed the film. “I could give my best as each and every scene was meticulously shot. I don’t take more than three days for re-recording a film, irrespective of whether it is from a big or small filmmaker. I have always encouraged freshers with talent,” he said.

Lead actors Venkatesh, Neha Patil, Balu Mahendra, Balaji Shakthivel and Vijay Milton among others attended the event.
