Big win for Athanasius

Kochi: Mar Athanasius College, Kothamangalam, thrashed University College, Thiruvananthapuram, 5-0 to reach the south zone final of the Goal 2014 intercollegiate football in Thiruvalla on Monday .
Tintu Devassy scored in the 12th minute and Sanoop Muhammed doubled the advantage five minutes later. In the second half it was all MA College and their playmaker Ramesh K. got his name on the scoresheet in the 80th minute. Ali Ashkar and Muhammed Shahbas completed the rout before the final whistle.
