Hyderabad, TN retain ball badminton titles

Hyderabad men and Tamil Nadu women retained their titles in the 28th South Zone ball badminton championship held at Neyyattinkara on Monday.

Hyderabad clinched the title defeating Andhra Pradesh in the men's final, 28-29, 29-25, 2924, while Tamil Nadu beat Kerala 29-12, 29-25 in the women's category .

In the men's category , hosts Kerala had to satisfy with third place position while in the women's category , Karnataka grabbed the third place with a win over Andhra Pradesh.

Kasi Naidu of Hyderabad and Suganya of Tamilnadu were adjudged best players in the tournament in their respective categories.
