It’s a season where newcomers with out of box themes have succeeded in Kollywood. Joining the list is director Jayapradeep, a former associate of Kayaar who has wielded the megaphone for a suspense thriller 'Ner Ethir' (NE).  And greatly impressed with the making and its output, veteran producer Thanu, known for his grand promotions will be releasing the film worldwide.  “There is no hero, heroine, comedian or villain in NE and it basically revolves around five characters and certain incidents. Most of the story’s proceedings occur at night time and hence the movie has been shot only during night,” reveals the director. Interestingly, he has roped in producer Parthi who did Jiiva’s Singam Puli for the main character which has highly negative shades. “It was accidental! JP had worked as an associate in 'Singam Puli'. He narrated the script of NE and I liked it and he suggested I will be apt for the key character. I was very apprehensive, but he convinced me,” he says. While Vidya and Aishwarya Menon play the female characters, Satish Chakaravathy of Leelai fame composes the music.
