The BBMP department at RR Nagar had received numerous complaints in this regard. The bull had reportedly been creating nuisance by charging at pedestrians and two-wheelers in Bharathnagar on Magadi Road.

There were also complaints of the bull attacking women and children and some even suffered minor injuries while running away from it.

“Herohalli Corporator A.M.Hanumanthe Gowda had informed me about the rogue bull moving all over the area wreaking havoc in Bharathnagar.  It was charging at pedestrians, women and children and even at moving vehicles,” said Dr Captain Chandrashekhar, Assistant Director, Animal Husbandry, BBMP.

The BBMP team took six hours to locate and tranquilize the bull. It was around seven years old and weighed 300-350 kilograms. The bull was loaded in mini-truck and shifted to Kunigal temple as they were ready to accept it.
