Prabhu Solomon in a cameo in 'Thavamindri Kidaitha Varama'

There are speculations in the industry that Prabhu Solomon, whose last directorial venture was 'Kumki', was all set to play the protagonist in 'Thavamindri Kidaitha Varama', directed by S. J. Thalapathi Raj, and produced by S. J. Edward Raj.

When DC contacted Prabhu Solomon, he denied the news. “I am doing only a cameo role in the film, I am not playing the lead. Also, I agreed to it because it’s a scene that conveys a social message,” he said.

He also added that acting was not his forte. “Direction is my passion, I won’t let that go. Even in future, I am sure that I will be known only as a director and not an actor.”

The director is now shooting for his next flick, 'Kayal', in exotic locations. “'Kayal' is not an easy script to execute, and that’s a reason why I have chosen new faces in the lead who will co-operate and can also perform well,” he said
