Belgaum: Former deputy chief minister and BJP leader K.S. Eshwarappa said his party has learnt lessons from the losses it suffered in the recent assembly elections due to internal problems and is set to win at least 20 of the 28 seats in the coming parliament elections.
Addressing party workers at a meeting at Examba, near Chikkodi on Tueday, Eshwarappa blamed the Congress for mixing politics and religion. “What people need is development.
The BJP's PM candidate Narendra Modi gained popularity due to the developmental projects he took up in Gujarat. Party workers should get involved in a brisk campaign to ensure we win maximum seats,” he said.
